In a radio interview, American astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, said that if he could meet and talk with any scientist who’s ever lived, it would be Isaac Newton.
In less than five minutes, Tyson explains why Newton was “the smartest person ever to walk the face of this Earth” — outranking even Einstein, whose new theory of gravity in 1915 (General Relativity) superseded Newton’s. According to Tyson, Einstein was smart, but “he didn’t have to invent a whole new system of mathematics in tandem with his theory the way Newton did.”
