What a fantastic time to be getting into physics!
Scientists have, at long last, found concrete proof of “waves” or “ripples” in the fabric of space — typically created when massive bodies collide. The effect is similar to dropping a stone in a pond, but unlike the ripples created in water, spacetime ripples are invisible to the naked eye and much harder to detect.
